Mark Zuckerberg Agrees to a Boxing Match With Elon Musk
All of this started on June 20, when Space X CEO Elon Musk replied to a Twitter thread that made fun of Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg. The tweet said, “I’m up for a cage match if he is lol.”
Then, Musk responded to a user’s tweet that said Mark “does the ju-jitsu now,” which was just a reference to his most recent medal in a Brazilian jiu-jitsu competition.
On Wednesday night, Zuckerberg posted his comment about the cage match on Instagram, which is one of the social media sites he uses. Then, he posted a picture of the tweet on his Instagram Story and said, “Send me the location.”
Variety, a news organization, asked Mark Zuckerberg’s company, Meta, to say something about the whole thing. The spokesperson told the news source, “The Story speaks for itself.”
On the other hand, Musk doesn’t hold back when he talks about himself. Then, he seemed to answer Zuckerberg’s tweet about where he was by just writing “Vegas Octagon.” In another tweet, he said, “I have this great move I call “The Walrus.” I just lie on top of my opponent and do nothing.”
On May 6, Mark shared a bunch of pictures from his fight day with his fans all over the world on his Instagram page. In the pictures that were shown, he can be seen beating his opponent and even winning a few medals.
“I went to my first jiu-jitsu event and won some medals for the Guerrilla Jiu-Jitsu team. “Thanks to @davecamarillo, @khaiwu, and @intense0ne for training me!” he wrote in the caption of the Instagram post.
