Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is a Hindi-language family drama TV series. People criticize Abhinav for coming from a poor family and not having much money. During a call with Manjiri, Abhimanyu hears the lawyer say bad things about Abhinav. This makes him lose interest in the case.
The lawyers make fun of Akshara and Abhinav because they don’t have good jobs and can’t take care of their children. Kairav tells them that Abhir is a Goenka and that he has everything he needs. The lawyer suggests that they settle out of court and says that if they don’t, her client, Abhimanyu, will get custody of the kids.
Abhinav gets scared and starts to cough, so Akshara runs to get him some water. Outside, she tells Abhimanyu off for making fun of Abhinav, and she feels bad that his pride has been hurt. Abhimanyu asks Manjiri and Anand why they didn’t stop the lawyer. Anand says that the lawyer is only trying to win the case.
He tells Abhimanyu to step back if he feels bad for Abhinav and warns them that Akshara and Abhinav lied to them.

Abhimanyu wants the situation to come to an end. He doesn’t want his family to be insulted, but he’s more concerned about his son Abhir. Akshara tells him to focus on Abhir and forget about the people who insulted them. Abhinav is upset that he can’t be a good father to Abhir, as he couldn’t save his life and can’t afford to support his family or Abhir’s dreams.
He shares with Akshara that he doesn’t have any special talents to earn money, but she encourages him to learn and stay strong as they are together. Akshara misses her own house but tells Abhinav that they will make Abhir fine and take him back with them, calling him their miracle baby and themselves his miracle parents.
Abhinav agrees with her, and thanks her for her support. Kairav and Manish offer Abhinav a good job in their company to support his family, but Abhinav declines, wanting to do something on his own and not accepting any favors. Suhasini appreciates his self-respect and blesses him, while Surekha thinks it’s not practical to reject the job offer.
Abhinav explains that he managed his life on his own without any ancestral property, and Manish feels proud of him. Kairav wishes him all the best, and Akshara is glad for him.
However, Abhimanyu arrives home and ruins their happiness. Later, Abhinav is seen driving a cab to earn a living, and Abhimanyu feels sorry for him when he comes across him.
