Where is Steven Kitshoff Going After He Leaves the Stormers? Is He Going to Ulster?
The DHL Stormers’ deal with Steven Kitshoff will end at the end of the 2022–23 season. The rugby player from South Africa will join the Irish team Ulster at the start of the 2023–24 season.
Kitshoff broke through in the 2011 season when he was still a teenager. He played as a replacement five times for the Stormers and five times in the Currie Cup for Western Province.
In 2012, the loosehead started to play more, and the Stormers and Western Province both gave him the number 1 shirt. The South African athlete also helped Province beat the Sharks in a shocking game in Durban to win the Currie Cup.
The talented rugby player had a good Super Rugby season in 2013, and he took that success into the Currie Cup later that year. He was a constant for Province as they made it to the Currie Cup final for the second year in a row, where they lost to the Sharks at home.
But near the end of the Super Rugby season, he got hurt, which made 2014 a tough year for Kitshoff.
So, the star rugby player couldn’t play in Western Province’s successful Currie Cup campaign, where they beat the Golden Lions in a close game at Newlands to win the title.
He joined the DHL Stormers in 2017. He had a great time playing for the team.117
