The US Coast Guard, the Canadian Coast Guard, and the Royal Canadian Navy are all looking for the submarine. About 435 miles south of St. John’s, Newfoundland, is the search area. Brian wrote on his Facebook page, “Hamish, my stepdad, is lost in a submarine; thoughts and prayers that the rescue mission will be successful.” He later deleted many of his posts about the events and said, “For privacy, my mom asked me to delete all related posts. Thanks for the support.”
