The Comeback King: Dhoni's U-Turn Brings Joy to Fans!

MS Dhoni has been asked about retirement since the 2019 IPL, and each time he has stated that he will return to captain the Super Kings.

This year, fans lined up at every venue to pay tribute to MS Dhoni, and there was speculation about his future.

Would MS Dhoni eventually retire?

After the Chennai Super Kings claimed their fifth title at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, MS Dhoni confirmed he was not retiring from the Indian Premier League.

Dhoni stated that the simple choice would have been to proclaim his retirement, but he chose to return to lead CSK in 2024.

When Harsha Bhogle asked the question to MS Dhoni, the CSK skipper put the conjecture to rest.

"Are you looking for an answer? This is the most appropriate time to announce my retirement. But the amount of love I've received from people all over.

Walking away is easier than working hard for 9 months to play another IPL. "It's my gift, but it's hard on the body," Dhoni told broadcasters.

Dhoni also participated in his 250th IPL match and 11th overall final. MS Dhoni acknowledged that his eyes were moist when his name was chanted by supporters.
