The Terminal List Season 2 Release Date: One of the most popular shows of 2022, The Terminal List, is coming back for a second season. A thriller show on Amazon Prime Video stars Chris Pratt as US Navy SEAL James Reece, who wants to get back at the people who killed his family and other soldiers.
Based on Jack Carr’s first book, a former Navy SEAL, the show debuted in July 2022 and became an instant streaming hit. In February 2023, the show was picked up for a second season. Amazon has also ordered a spinoff show with Taylor Kitsch in the lead role.

Has The Terminal List Season 2 Confirmed?
Amazon Prime said that there will be a second season of The Terminal List on February 1, 2023. The second season will be based on Jack Carr’s next book in the series, True Believer.
“I’m thrilled to say that the second season of ‘The Terminal List’ is on the way, and I couldn’t be more excited to play James Reece again,” Chris Pratt said in a statement. “This season looks like it will be even more intense and full of action than the first. I can’t wait for everyone to see it.”
The Terminal List Season 2 Release Date
The second season of The Terminal List might come out sometime in 2025. It took 7 months for Prime Video to pick up the show for a second season. Because so many people watched it, though, a spinoff show was also started at the same time. At the time this was written, neither Season 2 nor the prequel show had started shooting. But Season 2 should begin filming after the strikes are over. That means it should come sometime in 2025.

What Will Happen in The Terminal List Season 2?
The story from James Carr’s second book will be told in the second season of The Terminal List. One of James’ website’s descriptions of True Believer says, “True Believer is the story of James Reece’s new adventure. He accepts a presidential pardon for what he did in The Terminal List in exchange for helping the U.S. government stop a worldwide terrorist plot linked to a “shadowy former Iraqi commando” with whom he has a history.” As Reece searches for answers and terrorists around the world, he uncovers a worldwide plan involving a traitor in the CIA and “a sinister assassination plot with worldwide repercussions.”
The Cast of The Terminal List Season 2
Chris Pratt has stated that he will be back for season 2 as James Reece. Other cast news has not been announced. We expect Constance Wu to come back as Katie Buranek, the reporter who helps Reece figure out how his loved ones died and why.
Sharon Hartley, played by Jeanne Tripplehorn, was Secretary of Defense. She did not make it through season 1 alive. It’s likely that Taylor Kitsch won’t be in season 2 unless it’s for flashbacks, since his character Ben Edwards seemed to die in season 1. But Taylor will be in the new spinoff series.
In season 1, Riley Keough played Reece’s wife Lauren and Arlo Mertz played his daughter Lucy. Both characters are killed, which makes Reece go on a tour to get payback. In back-story scenes, Riley and Arlo might come back for season 2. People who were killed in Reece’s group are also the same.
