Millions of people across the country had a hard time making ends meet because of how the government responded to the pandemic. Congress passed the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act, which set aside $2.3 trillion to pay out stimulus checks.
This was done to help ease the pain. There were three rounds of payouts, with each person getting about $1,200 and each child getting $500. Even though the last payment was made in 2021, many people were still having trouble. Because of this, some states chose to start their own programs to help the economy.
This article will talk about which states will get stimulus checks in 2023.

Several States Will Distribute Stimulus Checks In 2023 What You Need to Know!
In California, residents who qualify for the Middle-Class Tax Refund program can get payments ranging from $200 to $1,050, based on how many people they support, how much money they make, and how they file their taxes.
To get this payment, you must have filed your tax return for 2020 by October 15, 2021, met the state’s standards for your adjusted gross income, and not claimed any dependents in 2020. Also, you must have lived in the state for at least six months in 2020 and still be living there on the day you get your Stimulus Check.
For those who paid their taxes on time in 2021, Colorado Cash Back sent out stimulus checks of $750 for single filers and $1,500 for joint filers by September 30, 2022. These checks gave locals much-needed relief.
Taxpayers who need to file an updated return can do so online using the same method they used to file their first return in 2022, and they can choose to get their refund through direct deposit. But if a person updates their return on paper, they will only get a paper check and not be able to get their refund through direct deposit.
