Rising of the Shield Hero Season 3 Release Date: The Rising of the Shield Hero is one of the many anime series that will have new episodes next month as part of the Fall 2023 anime schedule. The official release date for The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 3 has now been announced, so fans will know when to tune in. A few years ago, the first season of the anime The Rising of the Shield Hero was so popular that it was quickly announced that the anime would be back for both Season 2 and Season 3. The second season has already come out, so it’s finally time for Season 3 to come out.
The team behind The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 3 had said before that it would come out in October as part of the new wave of anime for the Fall 2023 anime schedule. Now, a new update from the team has confirmed that The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 3 will make its debut in Japan on October 6th.
Rising of the Shield Hero Season 3 Release Date
According to an official announcement that was made in April along with a teaser trailer, The Rising of the Shield Hero season 3 will be released in October 2023. The trailer also showed that the third season of Rising of the Shield Hero will be able to be streamed on Crunchyroll when it comes out. The Shield Rises Hero had 25 episodes in its first season, but only 12 in its second.
The number of episodes in season three hasn’t been confirmed yet, but since it’s only been a year since season two (compared to two years between the first two seasons), we’d expect a similar number.
Where to Watch The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 3?
Like the first two seasons, the new season will probably be available to stream on Crunchyroll when the new episodes come out this Fall. The third season of The Rising of the Shield Hero will start in Japan on October 6. What Will Be the Plot of The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 3?
Season 3 of “The Rising of the Shield Hero” will cover the “Rebuilding” and “Fallen Heroes” storylines. The first story is told in the light novel’s tenth volume, while the second story is told in volumes 11 and 12. Those who have read the light novel series won’t be surprised by this, since Season 2 of the anime covered volumes 6 through 9, or at least parts of them.
Fans’ biggest complaint about the second season was that it skipped over a lot of things from those volumes in order to fit everything into 13 episodes, so it’s probably a good thing that the third season seems to be drawing from fewer volumes.
In the Rebuilding arc, the queen of Melromarc decides that Naofumi deserves a reward for helping save the world from the Spirit Tortoise. He asks for some land, and where his partner Raphtalia’s old village, Lurolona Village, stood, he starts building a town. The problem is that there are no people left to live there. The people who used to live in the village have been gone for a long time. Naofumi has more problems when he finds out that Eclair, the governor of this territory, doesn’t want to build anything and just wants to train.
In the Fallen Heroes arc, Ren, Itsuki, and Motoyasu are all struggling to deal with what happened with the Spirit Tortoise. All three of them lose sight of what it means to be a hero in this world and then disappear. After finding and freeing some slaves who used to live in Raphtalia’s hometown, Naofumi tries to find the missing heroes. However, he is being followed by people who want to kill him, which makes his job harder.
