Eligibility Criteria for RBI Grade B 2023
To be qualified for the RBI Grade B 2023 Exam, candidates must meet the following requirements (based on the RBI Grade B Notification from the previous year):
Educational Qualifications
- Officers in Grade ‘B’ (DR) – (General): Candidates have Graduation in any discipline /Equivalent technical or professional qualification with a minimum 60% mark (50% for SC/ST/PwBD applicants) or Post-Graduation / Equivalent technical qualification with minimum 55% marks (pass marks for SC/ST/PwBD applicants) in aggregate of all semesters/years.
- Officers in Grade ‘B’ (DR) – DEPR: Candidates must have a Master’s Degree in Economics / Econometrics / Quantitative Economics / Mathematical Economics / Integrated Economics Course/ Finance, with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters /years from a recognised Indian or Foreign University /Institute.
- Officers in Grade ‘B’ (DR) – DSIM: Applicants must have a Master’s Degree in Statistics/ Mathematical Statistics/ Mathematical Economics/ Econometrics/ Statistics & Informatics from IIT-Kharagpur/ Applied Statistics & Informatics from IIT-Bombay with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters/years.
Age Limit
Candidates must meet the following age requirements to apply for the RBI vacancy:
- Minimum age limit: 21 years
- Maximum age limit: 30 years
General Requirements
- Candidates must be a citizen of India
- Candidates Must be a subject of Nepal or Bhutan or a Tibetan Refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962 and has the intention of settling permanently in India.
- A person of Indian origin migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, the East African countries of Kenya, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Uganda, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
