Multiple reports say that Parakala Vangamayi, who used to write for The Hindu and now works for Mint Lounge, got married to Pratik Doshi, who is from Gujarat and is a key aide to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
According to the PMO website, Pratik Doshi is an officer on special duty (OSD) who plays a big part in the research and strategy wing. In accordance with the government of India (allocation of business) rules, 1961, he helps the PM with things like research and strategy.
Doshi went to Singapore Management School and worked in the Gujarat Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) as a study assistant when Narendra Modi was the chief minister. In 2014, when Modi became Prime Minister, he moved to Delhi. In June of this year, he was given the title of joint secretary.
