Eligibility Criteria for PIM-MAT 2023
- The candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in any field with at least a 50% overall grade (45% for SC/ST/OBC/SBC) from a recognized university or an institution with the same level of education.
- Final-year Graduate students can also apply, but they will have to show proof that they have graduated when the documents are checked.
- As required by the Government of Rajasthan, reserved seats will be given to SC, ST, OBC (non-creamy layer), and SBC candidates in the following proportions: 16% for SC candidates, 12% for ST candidates, 21% for OBC (non-creamy layer) candidates, and 1% for SBC candidates in unaided private institutions and 50% of seats in self-finance courses of aided institutions. More reservations will be made based on the rules set by the State Government.
- In addition to the above, there will be a horizontal reservation of 3% for candidates in the Differently Abled category, 25% for women, and 3% for the dependents of Defense Killed/Ex-servicemen.
One seat is set aside for migrants from Kashmir.
PIM-MAT Exam Pattern 2023
The PIM-MAT 2023 exam pattern is set by the University of Rajasthan. The test will last for two hours. Based on how the PIM-MAT is set up, the paper will be made up of 200 multiple-choice questions. Each question will have four possible answers, but only one will be right. Candidates are told to carefully mark the answers because each wrong answer will result in a negative mark.
