What Will Be the Plot of My Name Season 2?
At this point, we can’t say anything about the second season of My Name. In ‘My Name,’ we follow the fascinating journey of Yoon Ji-woo, a young woman who joins Dongcheon, the biggest drug ring in Korea. She pretends to be Oh Hye-jin and joins the police force to get back at the people who killed her father. As we’ve already said, the first season ends the story well and leaves you feeling satisfied. Yoon Ji-woo gets what she wants, which is to find the person who killed her father and get revenge for him.
During her journey, Yoon Ji-woo finds out that her father was a police officer who worked undercover and bravely tried to bring down the Dongcheon organization. She knows and appreciates what her father did for her, but she is still determined to bring down the powerful mafia. Ji Woo not only solved the mystery of how her father died, but she also solved the murder of Detective Jeon Pil Do, with whom she became close over the course of the season. She was also able to kill Mujin, who was the leader of the Dongcheon gang.
Since the initial plot has been wrapped up, there are no more plot threads to look into. Still, if the show is picked up for a second season, Yoon Ji Woo is likely to face a new problem, giving her new challenges to overcome and mysteries to solve.
As a possible plot twist, Yoon Ji Woo’s character could go back to work in the narcotics unit of the police force. By doing this, she would have a chance to get to know Cha Gi Ho, who is in charge of the Narcotics Crime Unit and knows important things about her father. This new connection could give us more information about Yoon Ji Woo’s journey and make it more complicated.
