Marco Polo Season 3 Release Date: When it comes to stories set in the past, Marco Polo is the best. Five years ago, Marco Polo was on Netflix. Since then, fans have been waiting for news about Season 3 of Marco Polo. The show takes viewers back to Marco Polo’s early years at the court of Kublai Khan and shows how he became popular there.
Fans have been crossing their fingers and waiting for their all-time favorite show to come back in a surprising way. On Reddit, fans have talked about how excited they are for season 3 of Marco Polo on Netflix and what they hope to see. Even though everyone has high hopes for the show, fans and viewers think the season finale will be pretty disappointing.
Marco Polo Season 3 Release Date
Even though Netflix has officially cancelled Marco Polo Season 3, some fans still hold out hope that the show will be brought back by another network or streaming service. But this seems very unlikely given how much the show costs and how few people watch it. Also, since then, some of the actors have moved on to other projects. For example, Benedict Wong has been in Marvel movies like Doctor Strange and Avengers: Endgame, and Michelle Yeoh has joined Star Trek: Discovery.
If Netflix had renewed Marco Polo Season 3 in 2016 or 2017, it would likely have come out in late 2018 or early 2019. But since that didn’t happen, there is no official date for the release of Marco Polo Season 3.

Marco Polo Season 3 Potential Plot
The second season of Marco Polo ended with a cliffhanger. Kublai Khan’s cousin Kaidu was trying to take over the Mongol Empire and rebelled against Kublai Khan. Marco Polo also found out that Princess Kokachin, whom he loved, was actually a fake who had taken the place of the real princess after she died. While this was going on, a mysterious warrior named Lotus captured Hundred Eyes, the blind monk who taught Marco Polo and Jingim how to fight.
The third season of Marco Polo could have shown how Kublai Khan and Kaidu’s civil war turned out, as well as what happened to Hundred Eyes and Lotus. It could have also told more about who Princess Kokachin really was and how she was related to Marco Polo. Also, the third season could have followed Marco Polo as he went to more places in Asia, like Japan, India, and Persia.
