Lil Tjay Gets Arrested During Instagram Live for Reckless Endangerment!

The American rapper Lil Tjay was arrested on June 6, 2023, while he was on Instagram Live. His lawyer, Dawn Florio, confirmed the story and said that he was filming a music video in the Bronx, New York, at the time of the incident.

On Tuesday afternoon, the musician’s IG live video gave people a front-row seat as he was handcuffed and taken away during a traffic stop in the Bronx. In the video, Lil Tjay can be seen being rebellious and asking why he was arrested. He said:

“No, bro. Hell no. What’s in that car? I don’t know what is in the car. Do not touch me. There’s no weapon in the car.”

The video seems to show that someone in the crowd told the Destined 2 Win singer to stop fighting to calm things down, while multiple cops grabbed Lil Tjay to handcuff him.

In May of this year, he was caught for the third time on weapon possession charges related to the shooting he was in last June.

Rochelle Berliner, a law company in New York, says that the term “reckless endangerment” refers to someone who knowingly does something that puts another person at a high risk of getting seriously hurt.

In 2022, Lil Tjay Was Shot 7 Times

Before this, Tjay had been shot seven times in a shooting in New Jersey last summer. In June 2022, the killing became public knowledge. Then, he gave his friends an update on Instagram.

The leader of Pop Out wrote, “Man, I’m just checking in with you guys. I just want to say thanks for loving me and supporting me. I was looking at the DMs and seeing the notes and everything else, and I felt loved, know what I’m saying?”
