Eligibility Criteria for KVS Contractual Teacher Recruitment 2023

KVS PRT Contractual Teacher Eligibility

KVS PRT Contractual Teacher Eligibility is detailed below.

• Senior Secondary School Diploma with a minimum of 50% or its equivalent.
• Pass the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) administered by the CBSE in compliance with the NCTE Guidelines for the purpose.
• Ability to teach in both Hindi and English.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:- Computer application knowledge.

KVS TGT Contractual Teacher Eligibility

• A four-year integrated degree study from NCERT’s Regional College of Education with at least 50% marks in the relevant subject as well as in the aggregate.
• Bachelor of Education or an equivalent degree from a recognized university.
  Pass the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) administered by CBSE.

DESIRABLE COMPONENTS:- Understanding of computer applications.

KVS PGT Contractual Teacher Eligibility

• A two-year integrated postgraduate M.Sc./MA course in the respective topic from a Regional College of Education of NCERT with at least 50% aggregate marks.OR A Master’s Degree from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% in the following topics.
• B.Ed. or similar certification from a recognized university for all PGT positions above except Information and Technology.
• Proficiency in Hindi and English language teaching.
• Candidates with a Special B.Ed are not eligible for the position of PGT.

Contractual Teacher Application and Selection Process at KVS
