Kumkum Bhagya is a popular Hindi-language drama television series created by Ekta Kapoor and produced by Balaji Telefilms. The show made its debut on April 15, 2014, on Zee TV and can be streamed digitally on ZEE5.
The initial cast of the show included Sriti Jha and Shabir Ahluwalia, while Mugdha Chaphekar and Krishna Kaul currently portray the second-generation leads. The original concept of the show was inspired by Jane Austen’s novel “Sense and Sensibility.”
In 2019, the show was rebranded as “Kumkum Bhagya: Doosri Peedhi,” with a new generation of characters being introduced.
Kumkum Bhagya 6th April 2023: Ranbir and Prachi Finally Get Out Off the Lift!
At the start of the episode, Daljeet and her sister say that they are worried about Ranbir’s safety. Pallavi tries to get in touch with Rhea again, and this time Rhea picks up. Pallavi wants to know how Ranbir is doing and why Rhea hasn’t answered her calls. Rhea tells Pallavi that Ranbir is still stuck in the elevator and that Prachi is with him.
She tells Pallavi not to worry because Akshay and Ashok have said they will look out for them. When Pallavi hears this, she is shocked, but Rhea tells her that she won’t let anything bad happen to Ranbir and Prachi. Pallavi asks Rhea to bring them home safely, and Rhea promises to do so before the call ends.

Rhea prays that they will be safe. Prachi asks Ranbir in the lift if he really meant what he said about being there for her. Ranbir tells her that he will be there for her no matter what. Prachi thinks about how unpredictable life is and how things happen when you least expect them to. Ranbir tells her that he wants to talk to her and ask her a lot of questions.
Prachi tells him he can ask her anything, but they are cut off when the lift moves suddenly. Prachi gets scared and clings to Ranbir. Both of them think that when they die, it will bring them closer together. Akshay and the other people waiting outside the lift are also worried.
Ranbir says that Prachi should lie down on the floor, which could help them stay alive. He lets her sleep on his shoulder. Akshay tells the mechanic to stop the lift, so the mechanic cuts the wires to get them out of the way. Ranbir says sorry to Prachi and says he wishes Panchi was there.
When the mechanic finally frees them, Rhea gives Prachi and Ranbir a hug and tells them that everything will be fine. Akshay sees a sign that says the elevator is being fixed and asks Ranbir and Prachi if they saw it. The mechanic says that they put it up, but they don’t know why it happened. Ashok suggests that they talk about who is to blame later.
Akshay worries about Prachi and hugs her, then thank God. Ranbir thinks that Akshay and Prachi are in the real world when he sees them together. When he sees Rhea, she worries about them and is glad to hear that they are okay. She says she will tell them when she calls home.
Ashok asks Akshay to take Prachi home, but she refuses and says she’ll go by herself. Akshay takes her while holding her hand, and Rhea takes Ranbir while holding his hand. Pallavi, Daljeet, and Badi Dadi decide to find out what happened by going to the office. When they hear the doorbell, Pallavi opens it hoping it’s Ranbir, but it’s Vikram.
Vikram sees that she’s sad and asks her if she’s waiting for someone. Pallavi tells Ranbir why they are worried about him and what went wrong. Vikram tries to call Ranbir, but the call doesn’t go through. He calls Rhea to find out how Ranbir is doing. Rhea tells Ranbir that he is fine and hands him the phone.

Before ending the call, he tells them he is safe and on his way home. Pallavi is happy and relieved, and she thanks Rhea for always figuring out how to solve their problems. Badi Dadi suggests that Pallavi thinks about marrying Rhea if she thinks she is lucky for them.
