The Hindi-language soap TV show Kumkum Bhagya is made by Ekta Kapoor and Balaji Telefilms. The show’s first leads were Sriti Jha and Shabir Ahluwalia. The second-generation leads are now Mugdha Chaphekar and Krishna Kaul.
In the episode, Akshay goes to Ashok’s house and tells him that he thinks Prachi might still be thinking about his proposal because she hasn’t told Rhea that she doesn’t want to marry him. Ashok tells Akshay to give Prachi a little bit of time and find out why she didn’t come to work.
Akshay tries to call Prachi, but she isn’t answering her phone. He chooses to call her at home and ask what’s going on. Dadi picks up the phone while crossing the street, and Shahana takes it. Akshay asks Shahana why Prachi didn’t come to the office. Shahana lies and says that Prachi told them she would come after meeting Khushi.
Akshay tells her to thank you and hangs up. Dadi asks Shahana why she lied, even though she knew Prachi had quit her job. Shahana says it was because she didn’t want to hurt Akshay’s feelings because he is a good person.

Daljeet is cleaning up Ranbir’s room when Rhea comes in and offers to do it herself. Daljeet tells Rhea that she told Ranbir about the wedding on his birthday without his permission. She apologizes, and Rhea accepts. Rhea feels bad that she misunderstood Ranbir and calls him, but when he picks up, he breaks the signal.
Ranbir tells Rhea that Khushi has been taken and tells her about a clue he has found about the Haveli. Rhea already knows about the Haveli, so she tells Ranbir to meet her near the 55 Crossroad. Akshay has been trying to call Prachi, and when he finally gets through, she tells him that Balbir has taken Khushi and that she and Laali, and Bindi’s mother are going to save her.
Akshay asks where she is and says they can meet him and at Crossroads 55. Badi Dadi and Daljeet start shopping for Ranbir and Rhea’s wedding and talk about choosing two dresses, one for Rhea and Ranbir and one for Akshay and Prachi. Rhea gets to 55 Crossroad and sees Akshay.
He tells her what Prachi told him about Khushi, and Rhea realizes that Ranbir is also looking for her. Akshay asks Rhea to tell Ranbir, but then he learns that Ranbir is not with Prachi.

Veera takes Prachi and the others to a hilly area where he charges them with trying to get him caught and ties them up so that his car can run over them.
