Kolkata Knight Riders IPL Schedule 2023: On March 31, 2023, the first game of the Indian Premier League (IPL) will be played between the defending champion Gujarat Titans and the runner-up Chennai Super Kings at Ahmedabad. Mohali will host the second game of the tournament on April 1 between defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and the Punjab Kings. Group A also consists of the Mumbai Indians, the Rajasthan Royals, the Delhi Capitals, and the Lucknow Super Giants, where KKR finds themselves.
The final will be held on May 28 in Ahmedabad, and for the first time since IPL 2019, all 10 teams will play in their allocated home location. Some games in IPL 2023 will be played in Guwahati and Dharamshala in addition to the ten franchise venues.
The 2022 IPL season wasn’t kind to the Kolkata Knight Riders; they only won six of their first 14 matches and ultimately finished in last place. Shreyas Iyer served as captain for the first time last year, but the team’s other notable players had trouble making an impression. Shreyas led KKR in batting with 401 runs, and Andre Russell led the team in wickets with 17, but it was not enough to get them into the postseason.
