The Joint Entrance Examination, JEE Main, is used to get into BE/BTech and BArch/BPlan programs at NITs, IIITs, other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), and Institutions/Universities funded/recognized by participating State Governments. JEE Main is also used to decide who can take JEE Advanced, which is used to get into IITs.
The JEE Main 2023 exam is a computer-based test that is given in 290 cities in India and 25 towns outside of India. JEE Main 2023 has three tests: Paper 1 is for getting into a BE/BTech program, Paper 2A is for getting into a BArch program, and Paper 2B is for getting into a BPlan program. The JEE main test takes a total of three hours and has both Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) and Integer Value Questions (Numerical Value Answers). Paper 1 of JEE Main 2023 has 90 questions, while Paper 2A has 82 questions and Paper 2B has 105 questions.

Eligibility Criteria for JEE Main 2023

Educational Qualifications
- Candidates must have passed their Class 12 examination or any equivalent exam.
- Candidates must have taken at least five subjects in class 12th /qualifying examination to be eligible.
Age Limit
There is no age limit for aspirants appearing in the JEE Main
No. of Attempts
A candidate is allowed to attempt the exam for three consecutive years. The number of attempts will be two in total a year.
Application Form for JEE Main 2023
The JEE Main 2023 Application Form must be filled out by the last date. You can get the application form by going to NTA’s main website. For the application not to be cancelled, candidates must upload the necessary documents in the format given. Follow the steps below to sign up for the JEE Main 2023 test quickly and easily.

Click the “JEE Main 2023 Registration” link.
Applicants who have already signed up can just log in and fill out the form.
Candidates who want to sign up for the first time will need to sign up and make credentials.
Start putting in the information needed to sign up. A login ID and password will be sent to a cell phone number or by mail.
Sign in with your information and fill out the application form with all the necessary information, such as your name, contact information, qualifications, etc.
Upload scanned images of your photo, signature, thumbprint, etc. that meet the style and size requirements given.
The last step is to pay the application fee using one of the payment methods that have been set up.
There will be a confirmation page. Take a copy of the confirmation page and send in the application form.
JEE Main 2023 Admit Card
The National Testing Agency released the JEE Main 2023 admit card session 2 online on April 5, 2023. Previously, on April 3, 2023, the authorities announced the admit card for April 6. JEE Main 2023 admit cards may be downloaded through the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in 2023. To access their NTA JEE hall ticket, candidates must log in using their application number and date of birth. The JEE Mains admit card 2023 is a required document to bring to the examination centre. To obtain the JEE Main Hall ticket 2023, candidates must follow the instructions provided.

Exam Pattern for JEE Main 2023

JEE Main 2023 Result
The JEE Main 2023 results for session 1 were posted on the official website on February 6, 2023. The JEE Main session 2 result date for 2023 will be posted on the NTA’s website after the final answer keys are released. Candidates can check their JEE Main Session 2 Result 2023 by logging in to the JEE Main 2023 login site using their application number and date of birth. The score will be made public once the authority releases the final answer key. There is no way to re-evaluate or re-check the results.
