Eligibility Criteria for IBPS Clerk 2023

Age Limit For IBPS Clerk 2023
- Candidates can take the test if they are between the ages of 20 and 28.
- According to government regulation, candidates from restricted groups are given a relaxation of the upper age limit.
Educational Qualifications of IBPS Clerk 2023
- Candidates with a graduate degree in any field are eligible to apply.
- Candidates in their last year are not permitted to take the exam.
Computer Proficiency
Candidates must have knowledge of using and understanding computers. They must possess a certificate, diploma, or degree in computer language or operations, or they must have studied computer or information technology as one of their high school, college, or institute electives.
Knowledge of the Local Language
Candidates must be fluent in the official language of the state or UT for which they are applying. Candidates should be able to read, write, and speak the official language of the state or UT.
General Qualifications of IBPS Clerk 2023
A candidate must be either:
(i) a Citizen of India or
(ii) a subject of Nepal or
(iii) a subject of Bhutan or
(iv) a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or
(v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

IBPS Clerk 2023 Exam Pattern
There are two parts to the IBPS Clerk test: the Prelims and the Mains. For both of these tests, the written examination is done online. Here’s how the test is put together:
IBPS Clerk Preliminary Exam (Phase 1)
The IBPS Clerk CRP XIII preliminary exam is an online test that looks at a candidate’s skills, intelligence, and English. There are a total of three sections, and the candidate must pass each section’s cut-off to move on to the mains test round.
For each part of the question paper, candidates have 20 minutes to answer the questions. The total score for the test is 100, and the passing score is set by IBPS. The passing score is likely to change every year based on how hard the exam is.

IBPS Clerk Mains Exam (Phase 2)
There have been no changes to the way the IBPS Clerk 2023 Exam is set up. Now, the IBPS Clerk Mains Exam will have 190 questions that need to be answered in 160 minutes.
Before, the Computer Aptitude Section and the Reasoning Ability Section were run independently. But in a recent change made by IBPS, both of these parts have been combined into one. There will now be 50 questions to answer in 45 minutes. Both the Preliminary Exam and the Mains Exam will be given in English and Hindi, as well as in 13 regional languages.
