The PMAY program aims to construct more than 2 million permanent homes with essential facilities like gas, electricity, and water by 2022. PM Awas Yojana Eligibility
In order to apply for Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, you need to meet certain eligibility criteria. These criteria are divided into four main income categories.
- Economically Weaker Section (EWS): Your family’s annual income should not be more than Rs. 3 lakhs
- Lower Income Group (LIG): Your yearly household income falls between Rs. 300,000 and Rs. 600,000.
- Middle Income Group I (MIG I):Â Your annual household income ranges from Rs. 6 lakhs to Rs. 12 lakhs
- Middle Income Group II (MIG II): Your family earns more than Rs. 12 lakh but less than Rs. 18 lakhs per year.

How to Apply for Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Online?

- Please indicate the category that you qualify for under PMAY.
- Next, go to the official website.
- To find the Citizen Assessment, go to the main menu and click on it. Then, choose the applicant category.
- You will be taken to another page where you need to provide your Aadhaar information.
- To apply for PMAY, you need to complete the online application form. Provide your personal information, income details, bank account information, and your current residential address.
- Please enter the captcha code, double-check the details to make sure they are correct, and then submit it.
