Tommy and Savannah weren’t together, but they were taking care of their daughter Everleigh together. On September 14, when the sad news of Labrant’s death was told, everyone was shocked.
Tommy’s cause of death wasn’t known at first, but it was later shared. The Orange County Sheriff-Coroner said that Tommy died from a fentanyl overdose that happened by chance.
Also, Everleigh’s father’s funeral was held at a church in Saddleback, California, a while after he died. His family also asked that people not send flowers but instead give money to CHOC Children’s at Mission Hospital.
People often mix up the two kids whose names are Everleigh. A Facebook group for kids called “Justice for Everleigh” was also set up. People say that the young woman was a shaken baby victim whose father, Wyatt Gabbert, shook her when she was three months old.
