The long-awaited South India upcoming film HanMan has a release date of Sankranti 2024 announced by developers. After enormous blockbusters such as Baahubali, RRR, Pushpa: The Rise, and others, the Tollywood film industry is preparing to present another Pan-India feature titled Hanuman.
Hanuman, billed as Telugu cinema’s first superhero film, is written and directed by Prasanth Varma, well known for directing films such as Awe (2018) and Zombie Reddy (2021). Varma is a visionary director noted for his groundbreaking ideas that have helped to redefine Telugu culture. He revealed the project on May 29, 2021, which also happened to be his birthday, and it has sparked the imagination of Indian superhero fans ever then.
The film was officially inaugurated in June 2021 with a pooja ceremony, and filming began the next day. Dulquer Salmaan, Mollywood’s heartthrob, will unveil the film’s first look in September 2021.
Hanu Man Release Date
The film is scheduled to release on 12 Jan 2024 in Telugu. The superhero film was scheduled to be released in theatres on 12 May 2023 worldwide in 11 languages, including Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, Marathi, English, Spanish, Korean, Japanese, and Chinese versions.
Previously, during the teaser launch ceremony in Hyderabad, director Prasanth Verma disclosed that the production budget of HanuMan has climbed six times from the initial assessment. Varma announced his fourth film, Zombie Reddy (2021), on May 29, 2021, which also happens to be his birthday. It was announced that the film will be Telugu cinema’s first superhero feature.

According to the Deccan Chronicle, “the film is inspired by the Hindu God Hanuman,” and “as for the title of the film, Prasanth says he chose it because it was a dedication to many who, when they think of any superpower or a superhero in Hindu mythology, we remember Lord Hanuman.” Regarding the film’s title, the protagonist’s name in the film is Hanu-Man.”
Cast for Hanu Man
The film, produced by Primeshow Entertainment, starring Teja Sajja as Hanumanthu, a potential new talent. He was most recently seen in the sci-fi love film Adbhutham, which premiered on Disney+ Hotstar in November 2021.
In addition to Teja, the film stars Amritha Aiyer as Meenakshi, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar as Anjamma, Vinai Rai as Michael, and Raj Deepak Shetty in the lead role.

Story of Hanu Man
Hanu Man is a Prasanth Varma Cinematic realm film set in the imaginary realm of Anjanadri. The Hindu god Hanuman inspired the film. According to filmmaker Prasanth Varma, the film’s title Hanuman is dedicated to many people who associate Lord Hanuman with any superpower or superhero in Hindu mythology.
According to reports, the film’s non-theatrical rights, such as OTT and satellite rights, were sold for a hefty sum. Zee Network reportedly paid 16 crores for the film’s post-theatrical OTT rights and satellite rights in Hindi and Telugu.

The trailer for HanuMan has yet to be released by the film’s creators. Despite the fact that the movie’s makers previously announced the release date but later postponed it, the official teaser has received a great response.
