Booster Vaccine Registration

In the current situation, the booster dose is available to seniors and people who work directly with the public. The booster dose is now called the precaution dose. Our social workers, like healthcare workers, nurses, doctors, etc., and senior citizens older than 60 can apply for the precautions dose. Candidates who are eligible can go straight to the COVID-19 vaccination center to get the third dose of vaccine or the precaution dose.

One thing to remember is that the frontline worker or senior citizen will only be able to get the third dose of the vaccine if they have already gotten the first two doses. Even if you are a senior citizen or a frontline worker and have had two doses of the vaccine, you are not eligible. It must have been 39 weeks or 9 months since your second dose of the vaccine to be eligible. Citizens who signed up for pre-vaccination will find a “Precaution Dose” option in the CoWIN dashboard. If you or any of your family members signed up on the portal, you will get this option.

When the world finds out about the new strain of concern, which was found in South Africa in November 2023, everyone, including India, will be ready to fight it.

During the second wave, many people lost family, friends, and other people they cared about. This safety measure is very important because that terrible thing won’t happen again.
