“Bhagya Lakshmi” is a Hindi Indian TV drama series that premiered on August 3, 2021 on Zee TV and the digital platform ZEE5. In the episode, Rishi saves Lakshmi from Sonia’s attempt to pour water on her. Rishi questions Sonia’s intentions and stops her from leaving. Sonia tells Rishi that she is teaching Lakshmi a lesson.
Rishi scolds Sonia and makes a comment about her behavior. Sonia reminds Rishi about how Lakshmi insulted their family. Ayush reminds Karishma and Sonia that Lakshmi was intoxicated at that time. Karishma supports Sonia and argues with Lakshmi. Dadi intervenes and stops the argument. Lakshmi apologizes for her behavior. Rishi questions Lakshmi about her fault and reminds her that she was not in her senses. Rishi asks Lakshmi to eat first, and they all sit down to eat.
Neelam announces that a match is coming to see Lakshmi for marriage and encourages Rishi to meet the guy the next day. Ayush tries to leave but Neelam asks him to stay seated.

Shalu and Bani are afraid that Lakshmi will get in trouble. Ayush calls Shalu and tells her that Lakshmi is not getting in trouble because she apologized to everyone. Lakshmi also tells Shalu the bad news that a Groom is on his way to find her. Shalu asks Ayush about the Groom.
Ayush says that since Neelam chose him, he must be good. Shalu is worried, but Ayush tells her not to worry and that he will figure something out. Shalu thanks Ayush, then hangs up. Ayush goes to Lakshmi and tells her he doesn’t want this marriage to happen. Ayush said that Rishi loves Malishka and that they should both get married, but Lakshmi doesn’t agree with that. Ayush says something about Rishi and Lakshmi.
He says that he knows they love each other better than anyone else. Malishka and Sonal are glad that Sonia put Lakshmi in her place. Sonia says that she couldn’t show Lakshmi who she really was because Rishi stopped her and told her off. Soon, Lakshmi will leave this house, and Malishka will move into it.
This makes Sonia and Sonal happy. Lakshmi remembers that Rishi told her that he loves her. Lakshmi tells Ayush that she has already made her choice and won’t change it. Lakshmi tells Ayush not to say anything about this to Rishi. Ayush tells her she’s making a mistake, and she leaves. Lakshmi goes to the temple the next day to pray to God.

Rishi goes into Lakshmi’s room and sees that she is not there. Rishi believes that Lakshmi has gone to work. Rishi runs into the door as Lakshmi opens it as he is leaving, hurting himself. Rishi tells Lakshmi that he broke his friend’s nose because of him. Lakshmi takes a look at his nose and teases him. Rishi makes a comment on Lakshmi.
