“Bhagya Lakshmi” is an Indian Hindi-language television drama series about Lakshmi, a kind-hearted and innocent village girl who marries Rishi Oberoi, a merchant. When she discovers the truth about her marriage, her world is turned upside down. Rishi already has a fiancée named Malishka, and after a year he intends to divorce Lakshmi and marry Malishka.
Lakshmi falls in love with Rishi after her marriage, but she ultimately learns the truth about her union. Malishka falsely accuses Rishi of sleeping with her without her permission while he was inebriated, causing Lakshmi to divorce him, so he can marry Malishka.

On April 27, 2023, in the most recent episode of Bhagya Lakshmi, Rishi enters the auditorium and is relieved to see Lakshmi seated in a corner with the official. Lakshmi is relieved to see Rishi but alarmed as he rushes towards her and asks if she’s okay.
Rishi continues to exhibit concern despite her attempts to prevent him. Aghaaz, frustrated after overhearing the conversation through Lakshmi’s earphones, assumes she has called for outside assistance. He orders his thugs to threaten and coerce Rishi into joining their cause.
In the meantime, Shalu flirts with a terrorist in order to manipulate him, but commits to a non-marital relationship. Sonal advises Malishka to keep Lakshmi and Rishi apart because their relationship could imperil Lakshmi’s forthcoming marriage to Vikrant.
