On June 25, 2023, the BET Awards will be held at the Microsoft Theater. The award show, which calls itself the “ultimate platform to show off the best, brightest, and most beautiful parts of the Black experience,” will be broadcast live from Los Angeles this Sunday at 8 p.m. ET on BET.
At the 2023 BET Awards, Busta Rhymes, a Grammy-winning singer, songwriter, and actor, will be given the Lifetime Achievement Award. On Sunday night, Coi Leray, Rah Digga, Supercat, ScarLip, Spice, Cutty Ranks, Bia, Dexta Daps, Swizz, Beats, and M.O.P. will pay respect to the Break Ya Neck rapper.
In a statement released in April, Connie Orlando, BET’s executive vice president of specials, music programming, and music strategy, said, “Over the past 50 years, hip-hop has not only changed American culture, but it has also become a worldwide phenomenon and one of the most influential types of music of our time.”
He went on to say, “We are proud to have always given hip-hop a place to grow, from music and fashion to art and fun. We’re looking forward to honouring the first hip-hop artists and coming up with new ways to promote new hip-hop artists in a way that only BET can do.

The BET Awards usually honour the music business, but this year, there will also be categories for movies and sports. These movies are up for Best Picture: I Want to Dance with Somebody, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Nope, Creed III, The Woman King, Till, and Emancipation are all songs by Whitney Houston.

The 2023 BET Awards will be shown live from Los Angeles on the BET channel on Sunday at 5 p.m. PT/8 p.m. ET. Aside from this, you can also watch the show live on BET.com, BET+, and Paramount+.
People who have cable can just go to the BET station to watch the show. They can also watch it on BET.com by signing in with their TV company account.
