Arcane Season 2 Release Date: Storyline, Cast and Trailer Updates

Arcane Season 2 Release Date: Arcane Season 2 is confirmed and is already being made! Riot Games and Netflix really hit it big with the League of Legends series. Here’s what we already know about the next season, Arcane, including when it’s expected to come out, how the story might go, and more.

On the other hand, the League of Legends series Arcane, which was made by Netflix and Riot, was a huge hit. Even if you’ve never played or heard of LoL, the series is great, even if you’ve never played it. Now try to picture how a League fan feels. It took six years of blood, sweat, and tears to get Vi’s story on the big screen, but now we’re all just waiting for Arcane season 2 to come out.

Season 1 of Arcane took place in both Piltover and Zaun, which are twin towns that look exactly the same. While Piltover is a wealthy city in the sun with a big academy, Zaunites live in the chemically clouded Under City, where they have their own thriving society.

When will we leave these cities? Most likely, no. As Season 1 ends pretty quickly, there are still a lot of questions that need to be explained. So, based on the story and the hints we got in many of the last scenes of the last episode, we can guess that Arcane Season 2 will pick up where the first season left off, though there will probably be a time jump. On top of this, we’ll probably add more Noxian flavor to it as well.

Arcane Season 2 Release Date

Arcane Season 2 finally has a release date, or more accurately, a release window. At a recent Tencent conference, it was announced that the show will soon be available to watch. The second season should come out during the fourth quarter of 2024. This means it should come out between October and December 2024. Since the League of Legends World Championship is happening in October and the beginning of November, we think the show will come out in late November, just like the first season.

Arcane Season 2 Release Date

Riot Games CEO Nicolo Laurent says that the stakes are much higher now because of how well the first season did. It’s good that the artists and writers are getting the time they need. Come on, you can’t just win all of the Annie Awards and all of the Emmy Awards for animation without feeling any pressure, right?

What Will Be the Plot of Arcane Season 2?

As we just said, we do think that Noxus will play a big role in the second season of Arcane, which will start soon. During the first season, we saw images that could have been clues about Swain and his role in what was going on in Runeterra.

We also can’t forget that Singed will become a very important figure in the next season. We can clearly see Warwick, who many people think is Vander, in the last Singed scene, and if you know anything about League of Legends lore, you know that Singed is the planner behind everything that happens in Runeterra. According to the legend of his hero, he also left Zaun to help Noxus invade Ionia. So perhaps we’ll go there as well. That would be a great idea!

It’s not clear if we’ll go that far into the Singed lore. We could also stick with the characters from season 1, which would mean we could learn more about Jayce and Viktor’s feud, who, according to League of Legends lore, have a deep disagreement. I would also love to see Viktor’s journey to his amazing change in season 2.

Who Will Be the Cast of Arcane Season 2?

Only three stars are sure to be in Season 2 of Arcane. The three actors who will be back for Season 2 are Ella Purnell as Jinx, Hailee Steinfeld as Vi, and Katie Leung as Caitlyn Kiramman. This was confirmed by the trailer for Season 2’s reveal.

Arcane Season 2 Release Date

Kevin Alejandro, who plays Jayce Talis, Toks Olagundoye, who plays Mel Medarda, Harry Lloyd, who plays Viktor, Reed Shannon, who plays Ekko, Mick Wingert, who plays Cecil B. Heimerdinger, and Amirah Vann, who plays Sevika, are also expected to show up in the show.

Some of the confirmed voice actors may not be back for Arcane’s second season, though, based on which characters made it through the Piltover explosion at the end of Season 1.
