The Hindi-language Indian TV soap series Anupamaa is about the life of a Gujarati housewife named Anupamaa Shah. In one episode, Maya kidnaps Anupamaa on her birthday and uses stories about fights between Anupamaa and Anuj to get what she wants.
Later, Anupamaa and Anuj break up. Anuj decides to go live with Maya and Anu in Mumbai, while Anupamaa goes back to live with her parents. Vanraj gets a new job and tries to get Anupamaa and Anuj to fight with each other.

Anupama 4th May 2023 Written Update: Kanta Worries Anupama’s Dreams Might Fall!
In the May 4, 2023, episode of Anupama, Anuj gets ready to go back to Anupama after being away for a long time. He gets rid of his beard and tells Anupama that he is coming back. Anupama is so happy that she tells Kanta and Bhavesh, who are also happy for her.
Kanta, on the other hand, tells Anupama that she can’t go to the Kapadia house until Anuj comes to take her there himself. She worries that Anupama’s dreams might be dashed. Maaya watches as Anuj smiles as he reads a message from Anupama and thinks of ways to keep him from going back to Anupama.
