Amber Heard Has Reportedly ‘Quit Hollywood’: Amber Heard is said to have relocated to the United Kingdom, leaving Hollywood behind in the wake of her high-profile court dispute with Johnny Depp.
Alison Boshoff of the Daily Mail was the first to break the story, stating that the Aquaman actress had “quietly relocated” herself and her small daughter, Oonagh, 2, to Spain. Oonagh is currently 2 years old. It is reported that a friend of Boshoff’s informed him, “She is bilingual in Spanish and is happy there, raising her daughter away from all of the noise.”
On the other hand, the nameless buddy claims that it is not necessarily a decision that will last forever. They believe that Heard is not in a hurry to get back to work, but that “she will probably come back when the time is right for the right project.”
The announcement comes nearly a year after the completion of the notorious trial, in which Depp was suing Heard for defamation after she accused the Pirates of the Caribbean star of domestic abuse. Heard had accused Depp of hitting her during their relationship. As a result, Heard filed a counterclaim for defamation when the attorney representing Depp referred to her allegations as a “hoax.”
In the end, the jury decided in Depp’s favor and awarded him $10.35 million in damages; however, this amount was subsequently reduced to $1 million through a settlement.
As a result of the highly publicized nature of the trial, both parties were subjected to harsh insults, and as a result, it is understandable that Heard would wish to go for a while.
Since the conclusion of the trial, she has not been seen or heard from, and she has not posted anything on Instagram since the matter was resolved. According to Boshoff, Heard sold her property in Yucca Valley, California, in July of last year. In October, she was seen on a beach in Majorca with her girlfriend, Eve Barlow, who is now thought to be her ex-girlfriend. It was speculated that she was renting a residence on the island.
It is said that she currently resides in the region surrounding Madrid.
Since Aquaman And The Lost Kingdom, which was filmed in 2021, is scheduled to come out in December of this year, and In The Fire, which was filmed this spring, has yet to declare a release date, it looks like we still have a bit to go before we can find out whether she’s actually keeping away from the entertainment industry for the foreseeable future.
