The plot moves ahead eight years to reveal that Citadel has been destroyed by an organization known as Manticore.
Production on the main series began in January 2021 and continued until December of that same year.

In total, there will be six episodes of Citadel, and the show will have a budget of $300 million.
Prime Video is the only place you can stream Citadel, and it's completely free for subscribers.
I'm not surprised after watching Citadel's first two episodes last night. This show met my high expectations.
Citadel will premiere on Amazon Prime Video on April 28, 2023. The remaining episodes will be released in the coming weeks.
