There is a wide range of denominations for the Indian currency. There are both paper bills and metal coins.

10 Rupees - Sun Temple, Konark

13th-century solar temple. Narasimhadeva I created Surya's chariot. One of India's tallest temples.

20 Rupees- Ellora Caves, Aurangabad

Maharashtra's Ellora Caves are in Aurangabad.  Buddhist, Hindu, and Jain art decorates this monument. The banknotes depict the nation's ancient culture.

50 Rupees - Stone Chariot of Hampi, Karnataka

Hampi, Karnataka's chariot temple. Vithala temple complex has a Krishna-shaped Garuda shrine. Vishnu's Vahan is Garuda.

100 Rupees – Rani ki Vav, Gujarat

Gujarat's Rani ki Vav stepwell. Udayamati, Solanki Queen of the 11th century, built this beautiful building. This memorial was created by Queen Udayamati for King Bhimadeva.

200 Rupees- Sanchi Stupa, Madhya Pradesh

Orange-colored Rs.200 currency was released in August 2017. This coin displays Madhya Pradesh's Sanchi Stupa. Buddhist Sachi Stupa.

500 Rupees - Red Fort, Delhi

Red Fort was originally called "Qila-i-mubarak," meaning Blessed Fort. On Independence Day, the Prime Minister raises the flag here. UNESCO also lists Red Fort.

2000 Rupees
