Blake Shelton's goodbye on "The Voice"

On May 23, the season finale aired, crowning a winner and marking Shelton's last episode as a coach.

The country superstar's final episode as a coach, "The Voice," was a star-studded celebration with a new winner on Tuesday, May 23.

Carson Daly, host of TODAY and the show that featured Shelton in its finale, rang the doorbell of the country singer's dressing room.

After the crew had queued up with red foam fingers to give Shelton high-fives and hugs, he walked down to his revolving chair.

Adam Levine, another initial coach, greeted Shelton onstage and offered advice and humor. Do it right. He told him, "It's your last show."

The order of finish was Grace West second, D. Smooth third, Sorelle fourth, and Noivas fifth.

Gwen Stefani, who married her coach from the 2014 season, also sent in a video message, in which she talks about how the show altered their lives and how she met her "soulmate."

Others, like as John Legend, Usher, Camila Cabello, Jennifer Hudson, Nick Jonas, Pharrell Williams, and Dolly Parton, also paid tribute to Shelton.

Team Blake performed Green Day's "Good Riddance" at the show's closing. Shelton looked stunned to see all his former singers on stage.

I still can't believe I've been a part of @nbcthevoice for all 23 seasons, and even more so that my last episode airs today. It's sad in a good way.
